Protocols for a weapons attack

Threat Assessment and Recognition

Understanding the types of weapons that could be used in an attack, as well as recognizing suspicious behaviours or activities that might indicate an imminent threat.

Knowing the established protocols and procedures for responding to various types of attacks, including lockdowns, evacuations, and providing medical assistance.

First Aid and Medical Training

Basic first aid knowledge and training in dealing with injuries such as bleeding control, airway management, and CPR can be critical in the immediate aftermath of an attack before medical professionals arrive.

Communication Systems

Proficiency in using communication devices to report incidents, share information, and coordinate responses with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services.

Evacuation Procedures

Understanding how to efficiently and safely evacuate people from a building or area under attack, ensuring minimal panic and maximum safety.
