SSGC & Security 2000

Integrated Policy (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and Information Security)

  • SSGC & Security 2000 aim to provide the UK’s most advanced security guarding solution

  • To achieve this, the Integrated Management System (IMS) has been implemented to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 27001:2022 and is focused on the customer journey and assuring the company processes are effective to meet the needs of all interested parties and hazards, risks and environmental impacts are considered at every stage.

  • The Integrated Management System (IMS) also ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all Information at SSGC and Security 2000. It is realised through the policies, procedures and controls within the IMS.

  • A review of the organisation has enabled ISO requirements to be embedded in our everyday business processes.

  • To give the IMS purpose and direction, SMART objectives are agreed based on the results of risk assessment activity and our overall business strategy.

  • Our ultimate objectives are to:
    • Maximise the Customer Experience,  
    • Eliminate Health and Safety Hazards
    • Minimise Environmental Impacts  
    • Maximise Information Security
    • Mitigate Risk, or Reduce as far as reasonably practicable.
  • A risk assessment framework that includes a defined methodology and tolerable level of risk, is documented in the IMS manual and the organisation will apply relevant controls with a business risk approach.
  • To ensure that all relevant staff, customers and third parties are aware of the IMS, and their responsibilities within it, this policy is available and communicated, supported by awareness and training activity. We will also consultant employees, and others who may be affected by our business activities and support their participation in Health & Safety arrangements.
  • We are committed to the continued review and improvement of the IMS in order to  
    • eliminate hazards,  
    • reduce the risk of incidents and near misses.  
    • prevent injury, ill health, and pollution.  
    • protect interested parties and the environment.  
    • ensure continued compliance with applicable contractual, legal and other requirements and compliance obligations.  
  • Top management gives complete approval and commitment to this policy.
